Position, condition, sanctification, glorification
A slow walk through sanctification.
These graphs are a way to think carefully about what God has made true of the believer in Christ, what we experience in daily life, and why spiritual growth should be pursued with both confidence and sobriety.
The distinction that carries the whole discussion
The blue line represents position: what God sees because the believer is united to Christ. The green line represents condition: what the believer experiences, practices, battles, and grows into over time.
Sanctification lives in that tension. It is not the ground of our justification, but it is not optional decoration either. Scripture calls believers to walk by the Spirit, put sin to death, abide in Christ, and keep pressing toward holiness until glorification finally brings condition into complete agreement with position.

This page is built so each section can keep receiving new references, notes, and revisions without changing the layout. The goal is not to finish the topic in one sitting, but to create a clear place to keep testing every claim by Scripture.
